How long does your repair service take?

Repair turn around varies depending on the work to be undertaken, whether parts need to be ordered and the existing workload. Generally speaking, I try to turn repairs around in  2 to 3 days but gluing and varnish work will require a minimum of 7 days.

Which payment methods do you accept?

Payment can be made by cash, card or bank transfer. Payment must be cleared on collection.

What are your charges?

   •    Violin bridge (new) from £39
   •    Cello bridge (new) from £89
   •    Violin set up (new - purchased elsewhere) from £39
   •    Bow re-hair from £50
   •    Crack gluing (externally) from £25
   •    Varnish chip repairs from £20
   •    Cello neck re-glue from £89

We only use the best quality replacement parts and finishing products.

Can you provide a quote?

Estimates for instrument repair are FREE and can often be given on the spot, although occasionally we need to take a longer look to make full assessment. All instruments purchased from stock can be adjusted to your liking at no extra cost – this FREE service is offered to you for a period of 3 months following purchase.

We are able to provide valuations for insurance as well as current retail selling prices. And can provide you with a list of recommended insurance brokers.
